Vista to Beholden

Stop watch beyond all points
Wings pan our moments

Given heart’s altitude
Vista to beholden

4Lines: Low Tide

Posted in 4 Lines, Poetry with tags , , , , , , , , , on October 14, 2010 by dustus

Thought of quicksand sealed between sunk toes
Sky volcanic orange, peaches, semi-transparent indigo
Tame waves, silhouetted gulls descending glide
As I skip smooth pebbles befriending low tide
