When Memory’s Held
Two dusty roads
Connect at a cross
Straight lines to never bend
Departing direction
Upon which all depends
Life’s thrown change-ups and curves
Battered through endings of lives
Scattered drops of waterfall diverge
Yearning and mind choose sides
Alarm, bitter echoes
All that is heard
Felt, sensed, and seen
Alive in few words
Talking in dreams
Miraculous being
When memory’s held
A way to peace is
The road to self
